Keith Kiska is a Professional Photographer with a background in Motion graphics and Visual effects. Like many before him he found his true calling in Digital Media and has since devoted himself entirely to the art. While earning his BFA in Digital Media Production from the Art Institute of Washington, Keith soon discovered his potential and set out to create a name for himself in the Media Industry.
In recent years Keith has gone on to win national awards for his Multimedia work including Grand Prize in a Broadcast Competition sponsored by Adobe for his independent feature "Students of Film". After presenting his film at Siggraph 2005 he dove into the most challenging role of his career, Visual Effects Director and Assistant Director for "Deadmen"; a Notafilmltd production in association with Kiska Media. The film was featured at the Rosebud Film Festival and Visually Wired Film Festival and took home 4 awards for "Best Lighting", "Best Editing", "Best Cinematography" and "Best of Show". The film launched Keith into a career with Renegade Productions where he continues his work In Motion Graphics, Visual Effects and Digital Photography. His recent work as Visual Effects Artist, and lead Digital Concept Artist for their new short film "Push" has led Keith to some of his most creative and recognized work. Keith recently went on to win the "Guru Award" for Photography from Photoshop World CS2 in Las Vegas.
Keith has lived and traveled to such places as, Hawaii, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and both coasts of the U.S. He takes a large portion of his creative inspiration from his travels and believes that new experiences are food for the soul. Armed with his arsenal of Canon photography equipment, digital editing capabilities, and a thirst for adventure, Keith is determined in becoming a leader in the Digital Photography community.
